49ers torch the Redskins 45-10.

After Washington drives for a TD on the opening possession, San Francisco dominates, turning back the Redskins' hope to get back into the game just before halftime. Trailing 21-10, Washington scores a TD but has it negated on a facemask penalty on Michael Westbrook and then Scott Blanton hits the upright on his FG attempt.

Meanwhile, the 49ers have no such issues. Steve Young throws for 303 yards and 3 TDs and runs for another on a QB sneak. Garrison Hearst adds 138 yards and 1 TD on the ground.
