Bengals beat the Lions 34-28 in OT.

Cincinnati's big plays are too much for Detroit, winning it on Corey Sawyer's 53-yard INT return in overtime. The Bengals take a 1st half lead on Neil O'Donnell-to-Darnay Scott TD passes of 70 and 36 yards. O'Donnell throws for 303 yards and 2 TDs.

However, the Lions rally, taking the a 21-14 lead on Barry Sanders' 67-yard TD run. Sanders' 5-yard TD run send the game to OT after Damon Gibson's 65-yard punt return had given Cincinnati a 28-21 lead. Sanders finishes with 185 yards rushing and 3 TDs, becoming the 2nd player to rush for over 14,000 yards in his career.
