Green Bay rolls on offense and answers each challenge by Detroit. Brett Favre hits 24-of-32 for 277 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Packers. Favre hits Antonio Freeman for a pair of TDs, the 1st a 6-yarder in the 3rd quarter after the Lions pull within 17-12, and then an 84-yarder to put the game away.

Detroit responds to the 1st TD when Terry Fair returns the ensuing kickoff 101 yards for a TD. However, Roell Preston then takes the following kickoff 100 yards for a Green Bay TD.
