The Vikings' offense sputters throughout settling for 5 FGs before finally reaching the end zone with 2 seconds left in the game.

Minnesota does gain 445 yards but is undone by 5 turnovers, including 3 bad interceptions by Randall Cunningham and repeated red zone failures. Meanwhile, Matthews and his replacement, Cade McNown, are a combined 28-of-42 for 281 yards and 2 TDs with no picks and just 1 sack.
