Denver rides Olandis Gary to an upset of Detroit, which flops despite being the team with playoffs at stake. Gary proves to be the Lions' Scrooge on Christmas day, shredding their defense for 185 yards rushing and 1 TD.

After a scoreless 1st half, Denver gets the 1st score when Gary breaks tackles on a 45-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. The Broncos push the lead to 17-0 in the 4th quarter on a 1-yard TD toss from Brian Griese to Dwayne Carswell.
