Seattle snaps out of a 4-game losing streak to end Kansas City's 4-game winning streak and wrestle away control of the AFC West. The Chiefs entered able to clinch the division title with a win, but the Seahawks jump in front 17-0 and hang on.

Jon Kitna throws for 216 yards and 2 TDs, hitting Sean Dawkins for a 20-yarder in the 1st quarter and Derrick Mayes on a 9-yard TD pass midway through the 2nd quarter to open a 17-0 lead. Kansas City bids to come back, but Seattle picks off Elvis Grbac 3 times to stop the Chiefs.
