St. Louis sprints to a 28-0 lead in the 1st half on the strength of 3 TD passes by Kurt Warner, sinking Atlanta to an 0-3 start. Warner hits 17-of-25 for 275 yards while Marshall Faulk rushes for 105 yards on 17 carries to go along with 5 catches for 67 yards.

Leading 7-0, Warner hits Torri Holt with a 38-yard and then Issac Bruce with a 46-yard TD pass within 29 seconds in the 1st minute of the 2nd quarter to break the game open. Warner later adds a 17-yarder to Faulk midway through the 2nd quarter.
