Dallas withstands a late rally by New York to clinch a Wild Card berth after losing 2 straight to sub-.500 teams. The Giants rally late after trailing 23-10, but the Cowboys recover an onside kick attempt with 1:04 left.

Dallas gets big days from Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith as well as an unexpected performance by Jason Tucker. Smith rushes for 122 yards on 22 carries while Aikman hits 23-of-32 for 288 yards and 2 TDs, including a 90-yarder to Tucker. Tucker sets up a FG with a 72-yard kickoff return.
