After Jessie Armstead promises Stephen Davis won't rush for 100 yards, Washington and Davis disagree, rolling up 206 yards on the ground, with Davis leading the way with 183 yards and 1 TD. Conversely, the Redskins' maligned defense forces 5 turnovers.

Washington leads 13-6 on the strength of Davis' 1-yard TD run when the defense provides the big play via a blindside hit by N.D. Kalu forcing a fumble. Marco Coleman recovers the fumble and returns it 42 yards for a TD and 20-6 lead in the 4th quarter.
