Jeff George throws for 275 yards and 1 TD while Robert Smith rushes for 97 yards and 1 TD. Detroit manages to draw within 24-17 with 2:16 remaining and 3 timeouts left. However, Minnesota is able to pick up 1st downs and kill the clock.
