The outcome comes down to the battle of Favre and Jeff George, with Favre suffering a pair of interceptions while George tosses a pair of TDs and sets up another with a 36-yard pass to the 1 in the 4th quarter.

After the Packers opened a 10-3 lead, the Vikings tie the game with a 57-yard TD pass by George, and then take a 17-13 lead in the 3rd quarter on his 2nd TD pass. After Green Bay takes a 20-17 lead on a 9-yard TD pass from Matt Hasselback to Jeff Thomason on a fake FG, George completes a 36-yard pass on a 2nd-and-15 to set up the winning TD from 1-yard out.
