Game Notes

Eagles trip up the Rams 38-31.

Philadelphia converts 7 turnovers into 2 TDs and an upset of the NFC's top seed St. Louis. The Eagles dominate the 2nd half after the Rams rest many stars including Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk and Isaac Bruce. Before departing the contest, Warner tosses a pair of TDs making him the only QB besides Dan Marino to throw for 40 or more in a season, while Faulk breaks Barry Sanders' NFL-record for yardage from scrimmage in a season.

However, the records give way to an ugly 2nd half performance for St. Louis with Mike Mamula returning an interception of Warner 41 yards for a TD. Donovan McNabb later gives the Eagles the lead for good with his 3rd TD pass, a 5-yarder to Chad Lewis. Al Harris puts the game away with a 17-yard INT return for a TD and 38-24 lead.
