Atlanta dominates New Orleans from beginning to end for an easy victory. Chris Chandler throws for 2 TDs and runs for another, helping the Falcons build a 21-6 lead in the 1st half.

Atlanta puts the game away with a 90-yard drive for a 1-yard TD run by Bob Christian on its 1st possession of the 2nd half. The Saints are undone by an offense without injured Ricky Williams and a beleaguered passing game that produces just 91 yards, 2 INTs and 7 sacks.
