San Diego wins its with a pair of 4th quarter FGs by John Carney after 4 straight possessions ended in interceptions by Erik Kramer. Kramer avoids getting the hook and leads a pair of 45-yard drives, the last capped by Carney's 41-yard FG as time expires.

The Chargers had led 7-3 on Natrone Means' 5-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter, but Seattle takes the lead on Jon Kitna's 1-yard TD toss to Itula Mili in the 3rd quarter. However, San Diego's defense throttled the Seahawks for much of the game, allowing just 201 yards.
