Pittsburgh splashes past San Francisco on a wet, rainy day. The Steelers establish control early, driving for TDs on their 1st 2 possessions and then converting a fumble into a FG on the 3rd series for a 17-3 lead.

Jerome Bettis runs for a pair of TDs, including a 22-yarder in the 4th quarter to seal the game. Charlie Garner rushes for 166 yards for the 49ers, but Jeff Garcia and Steve Stenstrom are just a combined 12-of-33 for 94 yards.
