Tennessee overcomes a lethargic 1st half and 10-0 deficit to improve to 5-1 after withstanding a last-minute comeback by New Orleans. Eddie George carries the Titans, rushing for 155 yards.

Neil O'Donnell misses his first 8 passes, but then tosses TD passes to Lorenzo Neal and Kevin Dyson in the 2nd half to help Tennessee to a 17-13 lead. Donald Mitchell returns an INT 42 yards for a 24-13 lead w/ 2:40 to play.

The Saints draw within 3 on Billy Joe Tolliver's 4-yard TD pass to Lamar Smith and a 2-point conversion with :45 left. However, Tennessee is able to recover the onside kick after a wild scramble.
