Minnesota wins it in OT after giving the lead away late, and then missing a chip shot FG at the end of regulation. Gary Anderson is able to atone for his miss from 20 yards with a 38-yard FG in OT on the Vikings' 2nd possession. The game-winner comes after Walt Harris picks off Jeff George's 1st pass in OT, but Chris Boinol pushes a 41-yard FG attempt wide right.

The dramatic finish comes after the 2 passing games light up regulation. Jim Miller throws for 422 yards and 3 TDs in his 1st start for Chicago, drawing the Bears even on a 25-yard TD pass to Marty Booker w/ :49 left in regulation.

George throws for 374 yards and 3 TDs, all to Cris Carter.
