Miami overcomes a horrible 1st half by Jay Fiedler, riding an epic performance by Lamar Smith. Indianapolis builds a 14-0 lead on the back of 3 INTs by Fiedler. However, Smith carries an NFL post-season record 40 times for 209 yards and 2 TDs.

Smith's 17-yard TD run 11:26 into OT wins it. Mike Vanderjagt misses from 49 yards on the Colts' 1st possession of OT. The Dolphins tied the game w/ :34 left in regulation on Fielder's 9-yard TD pass to Jed Weaver.
