Roger Staubach's Hail Mary pass to Drew Pearson for a 50-yard TD w/ half a minute to play wins it for Dallas. The Cowboys had survived a 4th-and-17 earlier in the drive to continue on and earn a trip to the NFC Championship.

The Cowboys took a 10-7 lead on Toni Fritsch's 24-yard FG on the opening play of the 4th quarter. However, Minnesota goes back in front with a prolonged drive ending in Brent McClanahan's 1-yard TD run.

The teams swapped 1st half TDs on scores by Chuck Foreman and Doug Dennison. Staubach throws for 246 yards, while Fran Tarkenton is 12-of-26 for 136 yards for the Vikings.
