Game Notes

Dolphins rally to beat the Seahawks 20-17.

Miami dominates the 2nd half before taking the lead over Seattle on J.J. Johnson's 2-yard TD run w/ 4:48 left. The Seahawks had controlled the 1st half in their bid to close out the Kingdome victoriously. However, the Dolphins awaken on offense in the 2nd half and the defense allows just 49 total yards after halftime.

Miami ties the game 10-10 on Dan Marino's 1-yard TD pass to Oronde Gadsden capping the opening drive of the 3rd quarter. Seattle immediately responds when Charlie Rogers returns the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for a TD, but its the Seahawks' last flicker of life. Marino hits on big passes when necessary and Johnson rushes for 86 yards.
