Falcons make incredible rally to beat the Eagles 14-13.

Atlanta strikes twice in the closing minutes to erase a 13-0 deficit, and then win after Mike Michel misses his 2nd FG attempt of the game, pushing a 36-yard attempt wide right. Michel, a punter who had never attempted a FG before the game, also misses a PAT after Ron Jaworski hit Harold Carmichel for a 13-yard TD pass in the 1st quarter.

Wilbert Montgomery's 1-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter ups the lead to 13-0. However, despite 5 turnovers by Atlanta, Philadelphia is unable to open a bigger lead.

Steve Bartkowski starts the Falcons' comeback with a 20-yard TD pass to Jim Mitchell, and then he finds Wallace Francis behind the Eagles' secondary for a 37-yard TD pass and 14-13 lead right after the 2-minute warning. Bartkowski goes 18-of-32 for 243 yards and 2 TDs despite soggy playing conditions. Francis catches 6 for 158 yards.
