Cowboys outlast the Packers 37-26.

Dallas triumphs in a contest of big plays, landing the last 2 big blows to put away Green Bay. Dennis Thurman picks off Lynn DIckey in the end zone to seal the win in the final 2 minutes. It's Thurman's 3rd interception of the game, including a 39-yard return for a TD and 20-7 lead late in the 2nd quarter.

Timmy Newsome's 1-yard TD run late in the 4th quarter gives Dallas a 37-26 lead 1 play after Drew Pearson hits Tony Hill for a 49-yard pass. The Packers had rallied twice, scoring on a 71-yard end around by James Lofton and a 22-yard INT return by Mark Lee.

The two teams combine for 841 yards, with Dickey throwing for 332 yards and 1 TD and Lofton also catching 5 passes for 109 yards. Tony Dorsett rushes for 99 yards and Hill catches 7 passes for 142 yards.
