Vince Ferragamo's 50-yard TD pass to Billy Waddy with just over 2 minutes to play is the capper on a series of big plays that lifts Los Angeles over Dallas in Roger Staubach's final game. Ferragamo completes just 9 passes, but they go for 210 yards and 3 TDs.

Dallas had rallied from a 14-5 deficit, going ahead on Staubach's 2-yard TD toss to Jay Saldi earlier in the 4th quarter. After Dallas had gone ahead first on a safety, Ferragamo combines with Wendell Tyler on a 32-yard TD pass and then a 43-yard desperation heave to Ron Smith with :02 left in the 1st half for a 14-5 lead.
