St. Louis wins it when Mike Jones stops Kevin Dyson a yard short of the goal line on the final play. The Rams had answered Tennessee's rally with a 73-yard TD pass from Kurt Warner to Isaac Bruce w/ 1:54 left, just 1 play after the Titans tied the game.

Warner earns MVP honors, throwing for 414 yards and 2 TDs, his 1st, a 9-yard TD pass to Torri Holt w/ 7:20 left in the 3rd quarter to open a 16-0 lead. Tennessee find offensive life following the score with Eddie George rushing for a pair of TDs to cut the deficit to 16-13. Al Del Greco's 43-yard FG ties it w/ 2:12 left in the game.
